New-Gen Ford Endeavour (Everest) Spied Again; Shows All-New Design

It is no secret that Ford Motor Company is preparing the new-gen Ford Endeavour aka Everest in international markets. Scheduled to be unveiled later this quarter, the new Everest SUV has been caught testing wearing minimal covers.

The new-gen Ford Endeavour is based on the body-on-frame chassis that underpins the redesigned Ranger lifestyle pick-up. The front fascia looks identical to the Ranger, featuring a prominent mesh grille with an open bar that merges into the C-shaped headlights. The bumper has a wide air-intake and fog lamps that looks identical to those found on the pick-up truck.

The side profile looks simple, featuring less pronounced wheel arches and chrome strip surrounding the windows. The spotted model shows a flat roof and a shark fin antenna. The SUV’s rear was heavily disguised; however, the official teaser suggests that the new-gen Ford Endeavour will have a modern rear design with stylish tail-lights and a conventional tailgate.

Interior details are yet to be revealed; however, the new-gen Ford Endeavour is likely to source the cabin design with the Ranger. It is likely to get a fully digital instrument console and a 10.1- or 12-inch SYNC4 infotainment system. There will be minimal buttons around the central console.

The new-gen Ford Endeavour is reportedly to feature the longer dash-to-axle ration, which is similar to the 2022 Ranger Pick-up. It is reported that the new Everest will be offered in 3 engine options – two diesel and a new petrol plug-in hybrid. It will also receive a new off-road focused Wildtrack X variant.

It will get a 2.0L twin-turbocharged diesel engine producing 210bhp of power and 500Nm of torque. There will be a new 3.0-litre turbocharged 6-cylinder diesel engine which will produce 250bhp and 600Nm of torque. This engine currently powers the American-spec Ford F-150. The SUV will also receive a 2.3-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine with a plug-in hybrid system. It is reportedly to produce around 270bhp of power and 680Nm of torque.
