New Car Launches In February 2023 – SUVs, MPV, EV

The second month of 2023 (February) will witness some important new car launches including two SUVs, a MPV and an electric hatchback. Let’s take a close look at the upcoming new cars that are coming our way.

Toyota Innova Crysta Diesel

2023 Toyota Innova Crysta Diesel Manual

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has started accepting bookings for the updated Innova Crysta diesel manual model across the country. While its prices will be announced in February, its deliveries are reported to start in late April. The updated model lineup will come in four grades – G, GX, VX and ZX – powered by a 2.4L diesel engine. The MPV can be had with both 7 and 8-seats configurations. There will be five colour options along with features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 8-way power adjust driver seat, 7 airbags, ABS, EBD, VSC, hill start assist, etc. More details here…

Citroen eC3 Revealed

Citroen eC3 will be the first mass-market electric offering from the French automaker in India. The model will have a 29.2kWh battery pack and an electric motor mounted at the front axle. The setup delivers a peak power of 57PS and 143Nm of torque. The eC3 offers an electric range of 320km on a full charge. It comes with two drive modes. Citroen’s new electric hatch will be offered in Live and Feel trims and put up against the Tata Tiago EV. Its feature kit includes a 10.2-inch infotainment system with the smartphone connectivity, height adjustable driver’s seat, dual front airbags and many more goodies. More details here…

Maruti Brezza CNG

Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG is likely to go on sale in February 2023. The carmaker has already started dispatching the vehicle across its dealership and it was recently showcased at this year’s Auto Expo. It will come with a 1.5L K15C petrol engine paired to a factory-fitted CNG kit. The setup will return a claimed power of 88PS and 121.5Nm of torque. The carmaker says that the Brezza CNG will offer a mileage of 27.km/kg. It could be offered with both manual and automatic gearboxes. More details here…

Hyundai Venue Facelift

Hyundai Venue N Line Specs

Hyundai’s popular subcompact SUV – Venue – is reported to receive a mid-life update in early February 2023. It will be made available in five trims, namely, E, S, S(O), SX and SX (O). The new 2023 Hyundai Venue facelift can be had with two petrol and a diesel engine – 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel. The diesel motor will be slightly more powerful than the existing unit. The updated Venue N-Line will come in N6 and N8 variants, powered by a 1.0L turbo-petrol engine. More details here…
