After the Innova Hycross, the Japanese automaker is ready to reintroduce the updated Toyota Innova Crysta with the 2.4L diesel engine. Prices of the model are expected to be revealed in coming weeks (i.e. in early February 2023). While its bookings have already opened, deliveries are reported to begin in late April 2023. There will be four grades of the MPV – G, GX, VX and ZX. As per a fresh media report, the 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta GX diesel will be the first variant to be delivered to both private and fleet buyers. Deliveries of the VX and ZX trims will start by June or July 2023.
As far as pricing is concerned, the new Innova Crysta diesel will surely be more affordable than the Toyota Innova Hycross that costs between Rs 24.01 lakh – Rs 28.97 lakh. The MPV’s updated version is likely to be priced around Rs 20 lakh for the base variant and up to Rs 27 lakh for the fully-loaded trim. The ZX trim can be had with the 7-seats configuration only, while other variants get both 7 and 8-seats layout options.
A few changes have been made to the new 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta. The model comes with a newly-designed grille and fog lamp clusters with chrome surroundings and slightly tweaked front bumper. It comes in five exterior colour options – White Pearl Crystal, SuperWhite, Silver, Attitude Black and Avant Grade Bronz.
Toyota has equip the new Innova Crysta diesel with an 8-inch Smart Playcast touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a TFT MID, leather seats in Black and Camel Tan options, rear auto AC with digital display, 8-way power adjust driver seat, one touch tumble second row seats, seat back table and ambient illumation.
The MPV comes with a host of safety features including 7 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), antilock braking system (ABS), brake assist (BA), hill start assist control (HSAC), vehicle stability control (VSC) and 3-point seatbelt and headrest.
