2020 is about to end and we have witnessed several important new car launches this year. The last month of the 2020 (i.e. December) will also be action-packed. There are three new products that are slated to hit showrooms next month. Here’s a brief on the upcoming new cars.
1. Nissan Magnite
The Japanese carmaker has confirmed that the Nissan Magnite compact SUV will see a release on 2nd December, 2020. Estimated to be priced from Rs 5.50 lakh, the Magnite will be the most affordable vehicle in its category. The upcoming Nissan SUV will be offered with the 72bhp, 1.0L naturally-aspirated and 100bhp, 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine options. All variants will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while a CVT automatic transmission will be reserved for the turbo-petrol models.
2. Tata Altroz Turbo
Tata Motors hasn’t yet revealed the launch date of the Altroz turbo petrol model. Though, it’s reported to hit roads in December, 2020. The model will be powered by a 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine that will be tuned for generating power worth 110bhp and 140Nm of torque. It’s the same powertrain that does duty in the Nexon, but deliver power worth 120bhp. The Tata Altroz turbo petrol will get a 5-speed manual gearbox. The carmaker might introduce a DCT (dual-clutch transmission) at a later stage.
3. Toyota Innova Crysta
Prices of the Toyota Innova Crysta facelift will also be revealed next month. The updated model has already started arriving at dealerships across the nation. In fact, select dealers have begun accepting bookings for the new Innova Crysta. The MPV will receive noticeable changes inside and out including new headlamps with DRLs, revised fog lamps, 16-inch dual-tone diamond cut alloys, a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 360 degreen camera and an air purifier. The upcoming Innova Crysta facelift will continue to come with the 2.7L petrol and 2.4L diesel engines and 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options.
