New Car & Bike Launches In November 2022 – New Innova To Meteor 650

We have witnessed exciting new car launches including the Grand Vitara, Hyryder, Tiago EV and others in the last couple of months. Not just cars, multiple new motorcycles and scooters including the Ola S1 Air, Hero Viva V1 and others are launched in October 2022. In the month of November, these 5 new models (cars & bikes) will go on sale in our market.

1. Jeep Grand Cherokee

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5-Seat

Jeep has confirmed that the 5th generation Grand Cherokee SUV will go on sale in the country in November 2022. It will be the 4th Jeep model to be locally produced at the company’s Ranjangaon facility near Pune. While the global model is available in 5 & 7-seat options, the India-spec model will be a 5-seater variant. The new Grand Cherokee will come with a full suite of Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS), full connectivity package with 24×7 dedicated assistance and a host of premium features. Powering the new Grand Cherokee is a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It will come with four wheel drive system with selectable terrain modes – Auto, Sport, Mud/Sand, and Snow. The new SUV will take on the likes of the Mercedes GLE, BMW X5 and Land Rover Discovery.

2. Toyota Innova Hycross

The much-awaited new-gen Innova Hycross MPV will make global debut in Indonesia in November 2022. The new model will be launched in our market in the first quarter of 2023. The company has released a new teaser, which shows the front-styling of the new 3-row MPV. It shares styling cues from global Toyota models including the Corolla Cross SUV. The Indonesian-spec model is likely to be called the Toyota Innova Zenix. The new model is reportedly to feature Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), which is Toyota’s ADAS tech with features like automatic emergency brakes, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, etc. It will be designed on the lighter monocoque platform instead of the ladder-frame architecture. In fact, the RWD (rear-wheel drive) will be replaced with the FWD (front-wheel drive) setup. It will be offered with two engine options – a 2.0L petrol and a 2.0L petrol with a strong hybrid tech. The vehicle could get the heavily localized version of the THS II (Toyota Hybrid System), which has a twin-motor layout that enhance its high ‘step-off’ torque and fuel efficiency.

3. Pravaig Electric SUV

Bengaluru-based start-up, Pravaig has officially announced to unveil an all-electric SUV on November 25, 2022. The company claims that the electric SUV will offer a range of above 500km on a single charge. It will have a top speed of over 200kmph. The SUV will also support fast charging, which will allow quick charging. The SUV is claimed to achieve 0 to 100kmph acceleration in just 4.3 seconds. Using fast charging, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes. The company hasn’t revealed any details about the battery pack. We expect it to get a battery pack of around 70-80kWh.

4. Royal Enfield Meteor 650

Royal Enfield is working on multiple new motorcycles including 3 new 650cc bikes, new Bullet 350 and the new Himalayan 450. Royal Enfield is expected to unveil the new Super Meteor 650 cruiser motorcycle at the 2022 EICMA in Milan, Italy in November. The new RE Super Meteor 650 is a retro-styled cruiser motorcycle. The new RE Super Meteor 650 will share the engine and platform with the Royal Enfield’s 650 twins. It will be powered by a 648cc, parallel twin-cylinder engine with fuel injection technology. This engine is capable of producing 47PS of power and 52Nm of torque. The engine will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper and assist clutch. For suspension duties, the bike could get USD front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The motorcycle will have disc brakes along with the standard dual-channel ABS.

5. Ultraviolette F77

The long awaited Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle is scheduled to be launched in our market on November 24, 2022. Official bookings for the new motorcycle will commence on October 23, 2022. The motorcycle comes with 10.5kWh battery pack, which is the largest battery size for any electric two-wheeler in India. Ultraviolette claims that the F77 will offer 307km of range (Indian Driving Cycle) on a single charge. The prototype with the removable battery pack was claimed to offer a range of over 150km on a single charge. It will offer 3 ride modes – Eco, Sport and Insane. For braking, it gets a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.
