New Bajaj CT100 KS Variant Launched – 8 New Features, 3 Colours

Ahead of the festive season, Bajaj Auto introduced the CT100 commuter motorcycle with 8 new features. Promoted as ‘Har Sadak Par Kadak’, the updated model has been named the new Bajaj CT100 KS. It comes with a price tag of Rs 46,432 (ex-showroom). Buyers have three paint options to choose from – Matte Olive Green, Gloss Ebony Black and Gloss Flame Red. Talking about the features, the model receives rubber tank pads, thicker and flatter seat, handlebar with cross tube and enlarged grab enhancing its new look. The new Bajaj CT100 KS also comes with the flexible and clear lens indicators, extended mirror boot, fuel meter and front fork suspension bellows. No other changes have been made to the bike. Similar to the regular model, the new KS variant derives its power from a 99.27cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine delivering power worth 8.1bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.05Nm at 4,500rpm. The motor is capable to attain a top speed of over 90kmph. Its mileage figure stands at 90kmpl.

Bajaj Kadak CT100

The bike has hydraulic telescopic upfront and spring-in-spring rear suspension system. It runs on 2.75X17 41P front and 3.00X17 50P rear tyres. Braking duties are done by 130mm drum and 110 drum brakes fitted at the front and rear axles respectively. The rear brake is further assisted with CBS (Combi Braking System). The overall length, width and height of the Bajaj CT100 stand at 1945mm, 752mm and 1072mm respectively. It has a ground clearance of 170mm and a wheelbase of 1235mm. The bike carries a kerb weight of 115kg.

In latest updates, Bajaj Auto is planning to launch Neo-Classic motorcycle to challenge Royal Enfield. Last year, the Pune-based bikmaker entered into a partnership with Triumph to develop motorcycles ranging from 300cc to 700cc. Under this joint venture, the company will bring a neo-retro style classic motorcycle that will be put up against the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa Classic and newly-launched Honda CB350.
