New 2024 Tata Nexon To Get Curvv-Inspired Design Changes

Tata Motors is currently testing the new Nexon subcompact SUV that was recently caught on camera wearing heavy camouflage. The fresh set of spy images reveals that the new 2024 Tata Nexon will carry more angular stance than the existing one. Some of its design elements will be inspired by the Tata Curvv concept that was unveiled at the 2023 Auto Expo. Its headlamps, which will be slightly moved towards the bumper, will have X-shaped lighting element instead of the Y-shaped bits.

The updated model will feature an LED light strip running at the front. The rear profile will be revised with LED taillamps and connected LED DRL. The new 2024 Tata Nexon might also be offered with the newly-designed alloy wheels.

Significant changes will be made inside the cabin as well. The updated Nexon could be packed with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new 7-inch digital TFT instrument cluster and new upholstery. Rumour has that Tata might introduce ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) to the new Nexon. Most of the features will be carried forward from the existing model including leather wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob, iRA connectivity suite, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, wearable smart key, height adjustable driver seat, rear power outlet, rear wash/wipe, etc.

On the safety front, the Nexon will continue to offer multiple airbags, Isofix child seat anchorage, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder, traction control, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, electronic stability program and rear defogger.

Engine setup of the new 2024 Tata Nexon will include the new 1.2L turbocharged petrol and the existing 1.5L diesel unit. While former is good enough for 125PS and 225Nm, the latter delivers 115PS and 260Nm. It can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT. The subcompact SUV will continue to offer three drive modes – Eco, City and Sport.
