According to a fresh media report, TVS Motor Company is planning to foray into the 600cc-750cc motorcycle segment. The two-wheeler maker will bring in a new bike with bigger capacity engine featuring a twin-cylinder setup. The new TVS 650cc bike is reported deliver power close to 47bhp and 52Nm of torque.  It could be co-developed with the UK-based Norton Motorcycle Company.

The new TVS 650cc bike will be most expensive offering from the home-grown two-wheeler manufacturer. When launched, the model will take directly on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, which are currently ruling the segment. TVS Ronin Features

In other latest updates, TVS showcased four customized motorcycles at TVS MotoSoul 2023. The two of them were the TVS Ronin Agonda made by JvB Moto, Germany and the TVS Ronin Musashi by Smoked Garage, Indonesia. The other two includes the Wakizashi by Rajputana customs and the Ronin SCR by TVS itself.

Talking about TVS Ronin SCR (special custom Ronin), the bike is a scrambler featuring suspension spacers and high ground clearance than its regular model. What further distinguish it from the standard Ronin are the wrapped around wire-spoke wheels with semi-knobby Shinko tyres. The former comes with alloy wheels and road-biased tyres. The customized Ronin SCR also has a high-mounted exhaust system as we have in typical scrambler.

The Ronin SCR has been equipped with a twin-pod instrument cluster. Some of its other key highlights include a tweaked LED headlamp, raised front beak, new bodywork and new single seat. As of now, the company has no plan put the TVS Ronin SCR into production. The showcased customized TVS Ronin models at the MotoSoul preview the versatility of the bike’s platform.
