Maruti Suzuki has sent us a “block your calendar” invite for a new product launch on June 30, 2022. While the carmaker hasn’t yet revealed name and details of the upcoming model, it’s likely to be the new-generation Maruti Vitara Brezza. The model has been on test for a very long time and we have seen it camouflaged and without any disguise multiple times. Here’re 27 major exterior, interior and mechanical changes, which are expected to be made to the new 2022 Maruti Brezza SUV.

Reports suggest that the Indo-Japanese automaker will drop the ‘Vitara’ prefix from the SUV’s new-generation model. It will be named the new 2022 Maruti Brezza. The SUV will feature slightly tweaked front and rear bumpers, a newly-designed grille, new fog lamp assembly, updated faux skid plate, newly designed alloy wheels and different taillamps. Most of the changes will be made inside the cabin. The new Maruti Brezza 2022 will feature a larger 9.0-inch infotainment system that’s likely to support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The instrument cluster and steering wheel will also be new. The automatic variants will get paddle shifters. The higher trims could be offered with features such as a factory-fitted sunroof, connected car tech, tyre pressure monitoring system, 6 airbags, hill hold assist and electronic stability control.
Maruti Suzuki will make some changes to its bodyshell. The new 2022 Maruti Brezza will also get new monotone and dual-tone colour schemes including a new Green shade. The SUV’s new-generation model will source power from the new 1.5L, 4-cylinder K15C Dualjet petrol engine that’s good enough for 103bhp and 137Nm. It can be had with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a new 6-speed torque convertor automatic transmission.
