The Korean automaker, Hyundai recently revealed the new Venue facelift ahead of its launch in the Indian market. The 2022 Hyundai Venue comes with significant design changes and upgraded interior along with many segment-leading features. Ahead of the official launch, Hyundai has released multiple details about the new Hyundai Venue 2022 –
New Hyundai Venue Launch Date & Bookings
The new Hyundai Venue is scheduled to be launched in the country on June 16, 2022. Interested buyers can pre-book the new Venue online or at authorised dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 21,000.
Design Changes
The new Venue comes with significantly revised design, as it features the brand’s new Sensuous Sportiness design philosophy. The front design is heavily inspired by the new Tucson & the Palisade SUV. It comes with a revised front fascia, featuring a new grille with dark chrome. The lower bumper has more pronounced faux skid plate for sport look. It features the split headlamp setup with LED DRLs on top & main headlamp sits lower. The turn indicators on the upper lighting element looks like an extension of the grille.
The side profile looks largely identical to the current model; however, it now gets new alloys and wheel cap. The SUV gets a completely re-designed tailgate, featuring new tail-lamps that are connected via a LED light bar. The SUV gets a revised bumper that has blacked out treatment with brake lighting on the either corner. The lower bumper has a prominent faux silver skid plate.
New Hyundai Venue Interior Changes
The new Hyundai Venue comes with a new dual-tone black and beige interior theme, which replaces the all-black scheme offered in the pre-facelift model. The SUV also has a new four-spoke steering wheel. It comes with a fully digital instrument console and a drive mode selector on the centre console with 3 drive modes – Eco, Normal and Sport.
New Features
The new Hyundai Venue also receives several tech upgrades. The new Venue’s customer can now control many car functions through Home To Car (H2C) with Alexa & Google Voice Assistant. It also offers 60+ Bluelink connected features. The company has also confirmed that the new Venue will come with segment-first 2 Step Rear Reclining Seat. It also comes with a new feature – Sounds of Nature – which plays acoustic sounds like crackling fire or sea waves while driving.
New Hyundai Venue Variant Details & Specs
The new Hyundai Venue will come in 6 trim levels – E, S, S+, S(O), SX and SX(O). The SUV will continue to be offered with 3 engine options – a 83bhp, 1.2L 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol, a 118bhp, 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol and a 99bhp, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel. The 1.2L petrol engine will be offered with E, S, S(O) and SX trims in manual avatar, while the 1.0L will come with S(O) with iMT/DCT. The diesel version will be offered on the S+, SX and SX(O) trims in manual avatar.
