The newly-launched Hyundai Alcazar three-row SUV has been made available within the price range of Rs 16.30 lakh – Rs 20.14 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in Prestige, Platinum and Signature trims powered by 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5L diesel engines. While the gasoline unit is good for 159PS and 191Nm, the oil burner makes 115PS and 250Nm. Both engines are offered with the 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox options. Buyers have two seating configurations to choose from – 6 and 7-seats.
According to a document of the Delhi Transport Department, the homologation of the Alcazar Platinum (O) 7-seater variant has been done. It hints that the carmaker might introduce more 7-seater variants to the SUV model lineup. Currently, the model lineup includes 13 6-seater (including dual-tone) and 5 seater variants. The 7-seater layout is available with the Prestige petrol and diesel MT, Prestige (O) diesel AT, Platinum petrol and diesel MT variants only. The range-topping Signature and Signature (O) trims are exclusively offered with 6-seater configuration along with the dual-tone colour schemes.
Features such as front parking sensors, ventilated front seats, side foot step and paddle shifters are reserved for the Signature and Signature (O) variants. The Hyundai Alcazar offers three drive (Comfort, Eco, Sport) and three traction modes (Snow, Mud, Sand), which are available only on the (O) optional variants. The Platinum trim has been equipped with a 360 degree parking camera, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, blind view monitor, leatherette upholstery, air purifier, electric parking brake, powered driver seat, second-row headrest cushion, Bose sound system and 6 airbags. All variants of Hyundai’s new three-row SUV come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, voice controlled panoramic sunroof, auto climate control, cruise control, wireless smartphone charger in the front, Hyundai BlueLink connected car tech, ambient lighting with 64 selectable colours, leather wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel and gear knob, keyless entry and start and many more goodies.
