Hyundai Alcazar Priced at Rs 16.30 Lakh; Costlier Than Hector Plus

Hyundai Alcazar 6/7-seater SUV has finally been launched in the Indian market. Prices of the SUV start from Rs 16.30 lakh for the entry-level variant and go all the way up to Rs 19.99 lakh for the fully-loaded top-end model. While the Alcazar petrol prices range between Rs 16.30 lakh – Rs 19.84 lakh, the diesel models cost from Rs 16.53 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh. All aforementioned prices are introductory ex-showroom. Powering the petrol version is a 2.0L, 4-cylinder motor that’s good enough for 159bhp and 192Nm of torque. The diesel variant uses a 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbocharged unit producing a peak power of 115bhp and 250Nm of torque. Both engines can be had with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Optional (O) variants are exclusively available with a 6-speed torque convertor automatic transmission. In terms of mileage, the new Hyundai 7-seater SUV offers 14.5kmpl (petrol MT), 14.2kmpl (petrol AT), 20.4kmpl (diesel MT) and 18.1kmpl (diesel AT). The new Hyundai 7-seater has been made available in 6 monotone colour schemes, namely, Taiga Brown, Typhoon Silver, Polar White, Titan Grey, Starry Night and Phantom Black. There are two dual-tone paint jobs – Titan Grey/Phantom Black and Polar White/Phantom Black. The Alcazar is the first car in its segment to offer a dedicated centre console for the second row passengers along with the wireless charging options, cup holders and arm rests. There is a retractable seat back tray for the rear seat passengers that can be used to accommodate a tablet computer and a small notebook. The middle seat has a single touch foldable operation that eases to approach the third-row seat.
