MG Motor India has rolled out the Hector Plus 7-seater SUV in the country. The model lineup comes in a total of 7 variants priced between Rs 13.34 lakh and Rs 18.32 lakh (all, ex-showroom). While its 6-seater version features captain seats in the second row, the new MG Hector Plus 7-seater has bench-type seats for the middle row occupants. No other changes have been made to the 7-seat MG Hector Plus. The SUV’s Super trim offers features such as LED rear fog lamps, roof rails, LED taillamps, a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with smartphone connectivity, rear AC vents, audio system with 4-speakers and two tweeters, chrome interior door handles, electronic stability program, cruise control, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and camera and front and rear disc brakes.
The top-end Sharp trim comes with automatic headlamps, a panoramic sunroof, heated ORVMs, rain sensing wipers, a 360 degree view camera, PU-leather upholstery, mood lighting in 8 colours, a 7.0-inch MID, sunglasses holder, remote car operations, 4-way electrically adjustable co-driver seat, electric handbrake and 6 airbags.

Engine setup also remains unchanged. The new MG Hector 7-seater SUV comes with multiple engine-gearbox options including 170hp, 2.0-litre diesel motor with a 6-speed manual gearbox; a 143hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed DCT automatic; and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol paired to a 48V mild-hybrid system with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Alongside the MG Hector Plus 7-seater, the British carmaker announced prices of the Hector facelift. The model has witnessed noticeable cosmetic changes and feature upgrades, while the engine and gearbox options remain unchanged. Some of key updates include larger alloy wheels, new dual-tone upholstery and finish, updated infotainment system, auto dimming IRVM and more.
