Maruti Suzuki NEXA Hits 2 Million Sales Milestone – Fronx, Jimny

Maruti Suzuki has announced that its NEXA dealership network has achieved 2 million cumulative sales milestone in the country. Maruti Suzuki NEXA currently has over 440 showrooms across 280+ cities. MSIL claims that 50% of the NEXA customers are under 35 years of age, which shows that the brand is growing among the young generation. 

Maruti Suzuki is currently selling the Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, XL6 and the Grand Vitara SUV through NEXA dealerships. While the Ignis and Baleno are aimed at hatchback buyers, the Ciaz is a mid-sized sedan. The XL6 is a 6-seater MPV based on the Ertiga. The Grand Vitara is the newest member in the NEXA line-up. This mid-sized SUV is currently the most fuel efficient SUV in the country with a claimed mileage of 27.84kmpl. 

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

Maruti Suzuki will soon introduce two new SUVs to the Nexa showrooms. Coming April, MSIL will launch the Fronx crossover. Based on the Baleno hatchback, the Fronx will be positioned against the Renault Kiger & the Nissan Magnite. The crossover can be booked online or at NEXA dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000. It will be offered with two engine options – a 100bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol and 89bhp, 1.2L NA petrol. 

For off-road lovers, Maruti Suzuki will finally introduce the long-awaited Jimny lifestyle SUV in the country by May-June 2023. Interested buyers can book the SUV by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. The SUV will be powered by a 105PS, 1.5L K15B petrol engine with idle-start/stop system. Both manual and automatic gearbox options will be on offer.

NEXA has contributed to more than 20% of total Maruti Suzuki sales and the numbers are going strong.”

He added, “With the recent unveiling of two new SUVs – Jimny and Fronx, the NEXA portfolio looks stronger than ever. Both have garnered combined booking numbers of over 38,000. We’re confident that the NEXA channel is poised for greater success in the upcoming year.”
