Maruti Suzuki has launched the new CNG version of the S-Presso in the country. It is offered in two variants – LXi S-CNG and VXi S-CNG – priced at Rs 5.90 lakh and Rs 6.10 lakh respectively. It is the 10th Maruti Suzuki product in our market to offer factory-fitted CNG option.
The new Maruti S-Presso CNG is powered by a 1.0-litre Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine that produces 56.69PS at 5,300rpm and a peak torque of 82.1Nm at 3,400rpm in CNG mode. Power is transmitted to front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is claimed to offer an excellent fuel efficiency of 32.73 km/kg.

We now have 10 S-CNG models in our portfolio, which are designed to reduce ownership cost and strengthen our commitment to a cleaner and greener environment.”
Maruti Suzuki claims that the suspension setup of the S-Presso CNG has been calibrated to the updated powertrain for enhancing ride quality, comfort and safety. The S-Presso CNG is around 95,000 expensive compared to the regular model.
