Maruti Invicto Revealed In Clear Images – ADAS Missing?

Maruti Suzuki has commenced the dispatch of its upcoming Invicto premium three-row MPV to Nexa dealerships nationwide. Finally, we have had the opportunity to see the model in person. The latest set of images vividly displays its exterior design, which bears a strong resemblance to the Toyota Innova Hycross. However, certain cosmetic updates have been made to its front end. The new Maruti Invicto features a newly-designed grille with dual chrome slats, reminiscent of the Grand Vitara. Additionally, its headlamp assembly exhibits a distinct appearance.

Setting it apart further are the slightly tweaked front bumper and smaller LED DRLs. The new Maruti MPV comes equipped with newly-designed dual-tone alloy wheels, revised LED taillamps, and a dual-tone bumper. There have been no alterations to its dimensions. Similar to the Innova Hycross, the new Invicto measures 4,744mm in length, 1,845mm to 1,850mm in width, and 1,785mm to 1,795mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,850mm.

Maruti Invicto ADAS

The features of the new Maruti Invicto will be officially revealed on the 5th of July. According to a recent media report, the three-row MPV might exclude the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) technology. While this may disappoint some buyers, it will undoubtedly assist the brand in achieving competitive pricing while maintaining its value proposition. Maruti Suzuki had previously stated that the company does not anticipate it to be a major volume generator for the brand, but it will showcase “carbon-friendly hybrid tech.”

The Maruti Invicto will be available with a 2.0L Atkinson cycle petrol powertrain and an e-CVT gearbox. The robust hybrid setup promises a claimed power of 183bhp. The MPV model lineup will consist of a single Alpha Plus trim with options for both 7 and 8-seat configurations. The Invicto’s prices are expected to be higher than 20 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most expensive Maruti Suzuki in the country.
