Maruti Grand Vitara Front Revealed In A New Teaser; Nexa Blue Colour

Maruti Suzuki will unveil the much-awaited Grand Vitara mid-sized SUV on July 20, 2022. The company has released multiple teasers of the new SUV. A new teaser previews the front profile of the new Grand Vitara, which seems inspired by the global new-gen Suzuki S-Cross. To be sold via NEXA premium dealerships, the new Maruti Grand Vitara will replace the current S-Cross in our market. Interested buyers can book the SUV online or at NEXA dealerships at a token amount of Rs 11,000.

Maruti Grand Vitara Front Design

It is evident from the teasers that the Grand Vitara front design is heavily inspired by the new S-Cross on sale in international markets. The front design is completely different from the recently unveiled Toyota HyRyder. For people not in the know, the new HyRyder and the Grand Vitara are developed by Suzuki. The SUVs are based on the Suzuki’s Global-C platform that underpins the Brezza and the new-gen S-Cross.’

The Maruti Grand Vitara new-gen model comes with a bold front fascia, featuring an aggressive grille and LED projector headlamps. The SUV features a piano black hexagonal shape grille with large Suzuki logo in the centre. There is a chrome bar that runs across the width to merge the headlamps. The SUV gets tweaked triple-beam headlamps and newly designed fog lamp assembly. The vehicle gets more pronounced bonnet, wide central air intake and faux skid plate.

The new Grand Vitara comes with a sloping roofline and LED tail-lights. The previous teaser shows that the side profile of the new Grand Vitara looks largely identical to the HyRyder; however, MSIL has made some visible changes. It has grey coloured treatment over the window, C-pillar and roof rails are finished in grey and chrome highlights on window line.

Engine Specifications

The new Grand Vitara will come with two engine options – a 1.5-litre K15C dualjet petrol engine with mild hybrid tech and a Toyota’s 1.5-litre TNGA petrol engine with strong hybrid system. The former is capable of producing 101bhp of power and 137Nm of torque. The 1.5L Atkinson cycle engine is good for 92bhp and 122Nm.
