Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has announced prices of its much-awaited Fronx compact crossover in the country. The model lineup comes in 5 trims – Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta and Alpha, and two petrol engine options – 1.0L turbo and 1.2L naturally aspirated. While the former makes a top power of 98.6bhp with 147.6Nm of torque, the latter is good enough for 88.5bhp and 113Nm. Buyers have three gearbox options – a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic and a 5-speed AMT.
The carmaker claims that the Maruti Front offers best-in-class fuel efficiency of up to 22.89kmpl with 1.2L Dualjet-AMT gearbox combination. Its 1.2L petrol with manual version returns a mileage of 21.79kmpl. The 1.0L Boosterjet variants promises 21.50kmpl with manual and 20.01kmpl with automatic gearbox.

The 1.2L K-Series Dualjet, Dual VVT engine powered variants are available within the price range of Rs 7.46 lakh – Rs 9.27 lakh. Prices of the 1.0L turbo Boosterjet DI variants start from Rs 9.72 lakh and go up to Rs 13.13 lakh. The Delta and Delta+ AMT variants cost Rs 8.87 lakh and Rs 9.27 lakh respectively, while the 6-speed automatic models are priced between Rs 12.05 lakh – Rs 13.13 lakh. The new Maruti Fronx can also be owned via Maruti Suzuki Subscribe at an all-inclusive monthly subscription fee starting from INR 17,378. The dual-tone colour options are offered only on the top-end Alpha trim with 1.0L Boosterjet engine (with both manual and automatic gearboxes).
The Sigma variant has been packed with features such as halogen projector headlamps, steel wheels with wheel covers, keyless entry and go, dual-tone interior, automatic climate control, fabric seat upholstery, tilt adjustment for steering, powered windows, 60:40 rear seat split, hill hold assist, electronic stability program, reverse parking sensors and rear defogger.
The Maruti Fronx Alpha trim comes with some exclusive features including 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, dual-tone exterior colours, a 360 degree camera, HUD unit, cruise control and leather wrapped steering wheel.
The compact crossover also offers a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, OAT, voice assistance, steering mounted controls, Suzuki connected car features, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, rear AC vents, 6-speaker sound system, coloured MID in instrument cluster, wireless charger, height adjustable driver’s seat and more goodies.
The safety kit of the Fronx includes 6 airbags, 3-point ELR seatbelts, electronic stability program with hill hold assist & roll over mitigation and Isofix child seat anchorages. The company is offering ‘VILOX’ accessory package with the Front that includes front and rear skid plate with red colour inserts, side skid plate, front and rear bumper painted garnish, body side moulding with red insert, ORVM cover, cross-country red dash finish seat cover, red dash designer mat and protective door sill guard and more.
