The company had removed this fuel saving tech from the sub-4 meter SUV from the manual versions in July 2023. The Brezza MT mild-hybrid tech is only available in the higher-spec variants, with prices starting at Rs 11.15 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki has introduced the mild-hybrid tech on the top-spec ZXI and ZXI+ manual variants of the Brezza. While the ZXI variant is tagged at Rs 11.15 lakh, while the ZXI+ MT is priced at Rs 12.48 lakh. Not just MT, the AT versions of the SUV is also available with mild hybrid tech. The Maruti Brezza AT is offered in 3 variants – VXI, ZXI and ZXI+ – priced at Rs 11.15 lakh, Rs 12.55 lakh and Rs 13.98 lakh, respectively. Also See – Maruti Brezza Vs Grand Vitara

Thanks to the mild-hybrid tech, the Maruti Brezza manual is now more fuel efficient than the non-hybrid versions. The fuel efficiency is now increased from 17.38kmpl to 19.89kmpl. Surprisingly, the fuel efficiency figures are slightly lower compared to the previous Brezza MT mild hybrid (was rated at 20.5kmpl). The Brezza automatic is claimed to offer an ARAI certified fuel economy of 19.8kmpl.

The increase in fuel efficiency makes the Brezza top-spec manual mild-hybrid more fuel efficient than the Kia Sonet and the Hyundai Venue. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx 1.2L mild-hybrid is still the most fuel efficient SUV in its category with claimed efficiency of 21.79kmpl with MT and 22.89kmpl with AMT.
