The new-generation Maruti Suzuki Brezza went on sale in June 2022. Currently, the compact SUV model lineup is available within the price range of Rs 7.99 lakh – Rs 13.96 lakh (all, ex-showroom). It can also be had under Maruti’s subscription scheme with monthly fees starting at Rs 18,300. The amount includes vehicle registration, insurance, maintenance and road side assistance. Details of the upcoming Maruti Brezza CNG were recently leaked on the web. As per the leaked information, the factory-fitted CNG kit will be made available with all variants of the compact SUV. It can be had with either a manual or an automatic gearbox. There will be a total 7 CNG variants, namely, CNG LXI 5MT, CNG VXI 5MT/6AT, CNG ZXI 5MT/6AT and CNG ZXI 5MT/6T. The boot space will be compromised with the factory-fitted CNG kit.
Talking about the powertrain, the Maruti Brezza CNG will be offered with the 1.5L K15C petrol motor boosted with the Smart Hybrid tech. The setup will be paired to a CNG kit. The power and torque outputs of the CNG version will slightly lower than the regular petrol motor that makes 102bhp with 137Nm. The Brezza CNG will be high on mileage. It’s estimated to deliver a fuel efficiency of 25km/kg -30km/kg. The regular petrol engine returns a claimed mileage of 19.80kmpl with automatic gearbox and 20.15kmpl with manual transmission.
On the feature front, the new Maruti Brezza offers a 9.0-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, wireless charging, Arkamys sound system, Heads-Up Display, voice command support, ambient lighting, connected car tech, a sunroof, Alexa compatibility, rear AC vents, USB Type-C and Type-A rear charging ports, a 360 degree parking camera, electronic stability program, 6 airbags, hill hold assist and more.
