OLA EV SUV Interior, Touchscreen Revealed In New Teaser

Ola Electric has released a new teaser video of its upcoming electric car on the occasion of Diwali. This time, the teaser reveals key details of the interior. The Ola EV SUV is expected to be introduced sometime in 2023. The Indian EV Start-Up could opt for the Auto Expo 2023 in January to showcase the concept to public.

The teaser reveals the two-spoke steering wheel with an octagonal centre that has Ola logo embossed in it. Also visible are the backlit touch controls and toggle switches on the steering. Behind the rectangular-shaped steering is a cool blue interior ambient lighting and a free-standing instrument console, which reveals a digital speedometer readout. The Ola electric car has a clean and minimalistic design of the dashboard.

There is a slim ambient lighting strip on the top of the dashboard, which runs over the slim AC vents. It has a landscape-oriented touchscreen with a floating design at the centre. No visible switchgears are visible on the dashboard. It is expected that all controls will be controlled using touchscreen.

The teaser also reveals the exterior, which shows that the new Ola EV is a high-riding vehicle with an upright windscreen. It has rounded shape with air intakes placed on the lower front bumper, and has new headlamp signature. There are cameras instead of ORVMs. The company could showcase the EV in multiple body styles including a crossover and a sedan-like model.

It is expected that the new Ola EV could get a 70-80kWh battery pack with range of over 500km. It is claimed to offer 0-100kmph acceleration under 5 seconds and a drag coefficient of just 0.21.
