Maruti Suzuki India has rolled out the “Festive Edition” variants of its three popular hatchbacks – Alto, Celerio and WagonR. The carmaker says that the new special festive editions “are accentuated with dynamic accessory kit that offers striking looks, style and comfort”. The festive edition kits are priced at Rs 25,490 for Alto, Rs 25,990 for Celerio and Rs 29,990 for WagonR. Customers can get them fitted at any authorized Maruti Suzuki dealership across the nation. Talking about the Maruti Alto festive edition, the model comes with Pioneer touchscreen music system, 6-inch Kenwood speakers, dual-tone seat covers and steering wheel cover, new floor mats, security system with keyless entry and a few more accessories.
The Maruti Celerio festive edition receives Sony double-DIN audio with Bluetooth connectivity, rear seat cushion, stylish seat covers, designer mats, piano body side moulding, door visor and number plat garnish. The Maruti WagonR festive edition kit includes themed seat covers, designer mats, interior styling kit, side skirts, front and rear bumper protectors, wheel arch cladding and front upper grille chrome garnish. No changes have been made under the hood. The Maruti Alto festive edition is powered by a 0.8L petrol engine that’s good for 48PS and 69Nm. The hatchback is also available with the factory-fitted CNG kit delivering power worth 41PS and 60Nm of torque. Transmission duties are done by a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Maruti Celerio festive edition derives its power from a 68PS, 1.0L petrol motor that can be had with either manual or AMT gearbox.
The Maruti WagonR festive edition is available with two petrol engines – 1.0L and 1.2L. While the former pushes out a peak power of 68PS and 90Nm of torque, the latter is good enough for 83PS and 113Nm. Both motors come with the 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options. The WagonR also comes with a 1.0L petrol with CNG kit paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
