Mahindra XUV700 Reveals New Logo & Bright Red Colour

Mahindra XUV700, which is scheduled to debut on 15th August, was recently spotted running on road without any camouflage for the first time. Painted in bring red colour, the model shows the brand’s new logo placed in the centre of the grille featuring vertical slats and black treatment. The LED headlamps with C-shaped LED DRLs, wide central air dam, angular fog lamps and skid plates enhance its aggressive face. It has sporty black cladding and chrome treatment all around the body.

The chromed window line, pronounced wheel arches, multi-spoke alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, and blacked out pillars adore its side profile. At the back, the new Mahindra 7-seater SUV features wraparound LED taillamps, newly-designed tailgate, skid plate and roof integrated spoiler. The upcoming Mahindra XUV700 will be made available with 6 and 7-seats configurations offering captain seats and bench-type seats for the middle row occupants respectively.

The carmaker has confirmed that the XUV700 has been packed with several class-leading features including smart door handles, a panoramic sunroof (largest in the segment), in-car air purifier, drowsiness detection, personalized safety alerts, AdrenoX suite for infotainment system and auto booster headlamps. It has dual HD display setup with one for instrument cluster and one for infotainment. Some of its other key features include multiple drive modes (Zip, Zap, Zoom), wireless smartphone charging, dual zone automatic climate control, parking brake with auto hold and more.

Under the hood, the Mahindra XUV700 will house the segment’s most powerful petrol and diesel engines. Its petrol version will come with the 200bhp, 2.0L turbo motor and the diesel model will use the 185bhp, 2.2L mHawk turbo unit. Both engines will be offered with 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. Rumour has it that the new Mahindra 7-seater SUV might also come with a mild hybrid powertrain.
