Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to unveil the XUV700 7-seater SUV on August 14, 2021. Ahead of its official reveal, the automaker revealed its interior and top features in new teaser videos. The upcoming Mahindra XUV7000 has been packed with several segment-first features including the integrated Alexa voice AI system. The new Mahindra 7-seater SUV will offer Mercedes-Benz inspired dual screen setup – one for the infotainment and one for the fully digital instrument cluster. There is a rotary dial placed in the centre console for infotainment control. The SUV will come with Hello AdrenoX voice commands for operating sunroof, controlling fan speed, AC temperature and several other functions.
For entertainment purpose, the new Mahindra 7-seater will offer Sony 3D sound system with 6-speakers. The wireless smartphone charging pad will also be integrated into the centre console. The Mahindra XUV700 will get Mercedes-Benz inspired electrically adjustable driver seat with memory function. The ventilated front seats will add more to its comfort quotient. The carmaker has confirmed that the upcoming XUV700 SUV will be first vehicle in its segment offering an air purifier that will filter 95% viruses and 99% bacteria from the cabin’s air. The SUV will also offer the segment’s largest panoramic sunroof, called Skyroof. It will come equipped with the flush-type smart door handles. On the safety front, it will provide driver drowsiness detection, personalized safety alerts and auto booster headlamps.
The Mahindra XUV700 will offer four drive modes, namely, Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom. It will come with the segment’s most powerful petrol and diesel engines. While the petrol version will use 200bhp, 2.0L turbo motor, the diesel model will be packed with the 185bhp, 2.2L mHawk turbo unit. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer.
