Mahindra XUV700 SUV made its global debut on August 14, 2021. The carmaker announced prices of its 5-seater variants that start at Rs 11.99 lakh for the MX petrol manual and go up to Rs 14.99 lakh for the top-end AX5 petrol manual. The SUV will also be offered in 7-seats configuration featuring a bench type seats in the middle row. Prices of the three-row variants will be announced in the month of October.
While the XUV700 hasn’t been launched yet, select dealers have started accepting bookings for the SUV at a token amount of Rs 25,000. One must note that the booking amount will vary dealership wise. As some dealers are taking pre-orders at Rs 10,000 – Rs 15,000. Official bookings are likely to begin near around 2021 festive season. Deliveries are likely to start towards the end of this year or early next year.
Mahindra XUV700 Review
The Mahindra XUV700 SUV model lineup comes in two trims – MX Series and AdrenoX Series. The latter one includes three variants – AX3, AX5 and AX7. It can be had with either a 2.0L mStallion turbo petrol or 2.2L mHawk turbo diesel engine. The gasoline unit makes 197bhp with 380Nm of torque and the oil burner delivers 182bhp with 420Nm (MT)/450NM (AT). Both motors are available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearboxes. In terms of features, the range-topping AX7 trim offers driver drowsiness alerts, side airbags, dual-zone climate control, air purifier, leatherette upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear lever, 6-way power adjustable seat with memory function and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. It has been exclusively offered with the ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) that includes autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, high beam assist and more.
While the base variant gets an 8-inch infotainment system and 7-inch instrument cluster, the AdrenoX variants come with 10.25-inch dual screen setup for instrument cluster and infotainment unit. The feature list also includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 6-spealer audio system with sound moods, AdrenoX connected car technology with over 6- connected features, Amazon Alexa AI connectivity and more.
