Mahindra & Mahindra revealed prices of the 5-seater XUV700 on 14th August 2021. The SUV will also be made available with 7-seat configuration; however, its prices are yet to be announced. The Mahindra XUV700 model lineup is spread across four trims – MX, AX3, AX5 and AX7 – powered by 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbo petrol and 2.2L, 4-cylinder mHawk diesel engines. While gasoline unit is good enough for 200bhp and 380N, the diesel motor makes 155bhp with 360Nm on lower variants and 185bhp with 420Nm (MT)/450 (AT) on higher variants. The diesel models are exclusively offered with four drive modes – Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom. Both engines are available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options. One must note that the lower-spec diesel variants can be had with manual gearbox only. The SUV comes with the AWD (all-wheel-drive) and FWD (front-wheel-drive) options.
According to recently leaked documents, the XUV700 SUV model lineup will include a total of 29 variants – 13 – 5-seater and 16 – 7-seater. The 5-seater variants have been priced between Rs 11.99 lakh – Rs 19.49 lakh and 7-seater models cost from Rs 1.19 lakh to Rs 20.69 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
