Mahindra & Mahindra recently introduced its all-new XUV700 5/7-seater SUV in the country. The automaker has revealed prices of the 5-seater version only that’s offered in four variants (3 petrol, 1 diesel) with manual gearbox. The MX petrol and MX diesel are priced at Rs 11.99 lakh and Rs 12.49 lakh respectively. While the AX3 petrol costs Rs 13.99 lakh, the top-end AX5 petrol manual variant can be had at Rs 14.99 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.
Prices of the Mahindra XUV700 7-seater version will be announced in October, 2021. Engine setup of the new Mahindra SUV includes 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbo petrol and 2.2L, 4-cylinder mHawk diesel. While the gasoline unit returns a claimed power of 200bhp with 380Nm of torque, the oil burner has been tuned for generating two different outputs – 155bhp with 360Nm (for entry-level variants) and 185bhp with 420Nm (MT)/450Nm (AT) (for higher variants). Transmission options include 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic. The lower diesel variants will come with manual gearbox only. The AWD (all-wheel-drive) system comes as an option.
