Mahindra To Deliver 14,000 Units Of XUV700 SUV By 14th January 2022

The official deliveries for the new Mahindra XUV700 SUV will commence from 30th October 2021. The company will initially deliver the petrol variants of the SUV, while diesel model deliveries will commence from the end of November 2021.

The company had started accepting pre-orders for the Mahindra XUV700 from 7th October. Within 2 days, the SUV recorded over 50,000 bookings. The company said that the SUV has received over 65,000 bookings in just 2 weeks. It is reported that the new model currently holds a waiting period of around 6 to 9 months.

Mahindra XUV700 14000 Deliver by January

Mahindra has also announced that it will aim to deliver 14,000 units of XUV700 SUV by 14th January 2022, within 75 days. The company will have to deliver around 187-188 units per day to achieve this set target. Mahindra said that the deliveries could delay due to global shortage of semi-conductor chips.

Mahindra has joined hands with a global consulting company to devise and implement an algorithm based process with an objective to streamline the delivery process of customers. The delivery process will be based on a combination of parameters including the quantum of bookings at the city & dealer level, the ratio of online bookings at dealer counters and variant-level production feasibility based on spply chain constraints.

Mahindra XUV700 Interior

The Mahindra XUV700 is available in 4 trim levels, MX, AX3, AX5 and AX7. The petrol version is priced between Rs 12.49 lakh and Rs 21.29 lakh, while the diesel model is priced at Rs 12.99 lakh for base MX variant and Rs 22.99 lakh for the top-end variant.

The new Mahindra XUV700 is offered with two engine options – a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel and a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol. The petrol engine produces 200bhp and 380Nm of torque, while the diesel engine offers two states of tunes – 155bhp/360Nm for MX trim and 185bhp/420Nm (450NM with AT) with AdrenoX AX trim. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The diesel engine offers 4 driving modes – Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom.
