Hyundai Creta 2022 Latest Teasers Reveal Clearest Front & Rear Design

Korean automaker, Hyundai has released new teasers of the new Creta facelift. The Hyundai Creta 2022 is scheduled to be unveiled at GIIAS 2021, which will be held between November 11 to 21. The new teasers reveal the front, side and rear of the new Creta.

The teasers confirm that the Hyundai Creta 2022 will come with all-new front design, which is heavily inspired by the new-gen Tucson. It is called Sensuous Sportiness design philosophy. The SUV features new front grille with unique triangular texture that’s mirrored left to right. The vehicle gets split headlamp set-up with parametric jewel hidden-type DRL (daytime running lamps) on top, while main headlamp placed lower on the bumper.

The DRLs has a boomerang-like shape when turned on and looks to blend into the grille when the lights are turned off. The SUV also gets a redesigned front bumpers that has slimmer air inlet and new fog lamp assembly along with a silver-finished faux skid plate. The side profile looks identical to the current Creta on sale in India.

The rear design looks identical to the current model; however, it gets slightly revised tailgate. The tail-light design is same to the India-spec model. Hyundai could remove the connected light bar. Other design elements include black plastic cladding on wheel arches, new alloys, a shark fin antenna and a roof-mounted spoiler.

2022 Hyundai Creta Facelift Spied

The Hyundai Creta 2022 will come a factory-fitted panoramic sunroof, Bose premium audio system, a 10.25 TFT LCD cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and others. The SUV also gets Hyundai Bluelink connected car tech, which offers several security and comfort features. THe advanced features include Stolen vehicle tracking, stolen vehicle immobilization, valet parking model feature, etc.

The Indonesian-spec model is likely to get the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 113bhp and 145Nm of torque. Transmission options are likely to include a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic. The India-spec model will share the engine options with the existing variant, which includes a 113bhp, 1.5L NA petrol, a 113bhp, 1.5L turbo-diesel and a 138bhp, 1.4L turbo-petrol.
