Mahindra Bolero Neo Launch On 15th July – Report

Mahindra & Mahindra is gearing up to launch the updated version of the TUV300 subcompact SUV in the country. The facelifted model will carry a new nameplate – Mahindra Bolero Neo. The carmaker has already begun dispatching the vehicle to its dealerships across the country. While its official launch date is yet to be announced, the compact SUV is reported to arrive on 15th July 2021. The Bolero Neo receives a few noticeable cosmetic changes and feature upgrades, while the engine setup remains intact. As mentioned above, the Bolero Neo will come with the same 1.5L, 3-cylinder diesel engine that did duty in the TUV300. Though, the motor has been calibrated to meet the BS6 emission standards. The oil burner makes a top power of 100bhp and 240Nm of toque. A 5-speed manual gearbox will be standard across the SUV model lineup. Select variants will be available with an AMT gearbox option. No changes are likely to be made to its suspension and braking mechanism.

Mahindra Bolero Neo Instrument Teased

The teaser video reveals that the Mahindra Bolero Neo will have a completely revised front fascia. It features redesigned headlamps with horizontally positioned LED DRLs (daytime running lights), updated bumper, wider air dam and circular fog lamp assembly. Interior details of the upcoming Mahindra Bolero Neo are yet to be revealed by the carmaker. It’s likely to receive an analogue instrument cluster similar to the Thar and a second row armrest. The SUV could also get an updated 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting latest smartphone app. Most of its features will be carried forward from the TUV300 including faux leather upholstery, reverse parking camera, driver and co-driver seat lumbar support, steering mounted controls and more.
