Mahindra Bolero Neo Launch By September 2021 – Report

Mahindra & Mahindra has already confirmed the XUV700 7-seater SUV for this year. While its official launch date is yet to be announced, it’s reported to arrive in October 2021. According to a fresh media report, the new Mahindra Bolero Neo will be the next big launch from the home grown automaker in the country.

The sub-4 meter SUV is reported to hit showrooms by September 2021. It’s essentially the facelifted version of the TUV300 featuring improved styling, upmarket interior and new colours. In the company’s product lineup, the 2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo will sit below the XUV300 and is estimated to cost between Rs 8.5 lakh – Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom).

The SUV’s new model has been caught testing multiple times revealing its exterior details. The TUV300’s boxy and upright stance remains intact. Though, it gets a newly-designed grille with thick chrome slats, revised bumper with new lower air dam, new headlamp clusters and differently designed clam-shell hood at the front end. A few changes have also been made at its rear section. The 2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo carries new bumper and taillamps along with a spare-wheel-cover on the tailgate.

The new Mahindra Bolero Neo is likely to come with a new touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The feature list might also include automatic AC unit, new dashboard and more. It will continue to offer the driver’s seat height adjust, steering mounted controls, faux leather upholstery, reverse parking camera, reverse parking sensors, multiple airbags and more.

No changes are likely to be made under the hood. For power, the 2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo will use the BS6 1.5L diesel engine that produces a peak power of 100bhp and 240Nm of torque. It can be had with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT transmission.
