The Indo-Japanese automaker has expanded its fleet vehicles portfolio with the new Maruti Tour H1. Based on the new Alto K10, the entry-level commercial hatchback comes in petrol and CNG versions, which are priced at Rs 4.80 lakh and Rs 5.70 lakh respectively. That means, the CNG variant costs an additional Rs 91,000. Both prices are ex-showroom.

Maruti Alto Tour H1 Engine
The Maruti Tour H1 petrol uses a 1.0L, K-Series, Dualjet, Dual VVT naturally aspirated motor that’s good enough for 65bhp at 5500rpm and 89Nm at 3500rpm. It’s the same gasoline motor that powers the Alto K10. The CNG version has the same petrol engine with a factory-fitted CNG kit. It delivers a peak power of 55bhp and 82.1Nm of torque.
Maruti Alto Tour H1 Mileage
The new entry-level fleet hatchback is claimed to offer a mileage of 24.60kmpl with petrol engine. Its CNG version offers a fuel efficiency of 34.46km/kg. It has a maximum speed limit of 80kmpl.
Maruti Alto Tour H1 Safety
The standard safety kit of the Maruti Tour H1 includes dual airbags, ABS (anti-lock braking system), EBD (electronic brakeforce distribution), front seat belts with load limiters and pre-tensioner functionality, seat belt warning and reminders for both front and rear occupants, reverse parking sensors and engine immobiliser.

The entry-level commercial hatch is being offered in three colour schemes, namely, Metallic Granite Grey, Metallic Silky Silver and Arctic White.
What’s next from Maruti Suzuki?
The carmaker has confirmed that it will launch a new premium 7-seater MPV on 5th July 2023. Called the Maruti Engage, the model will essentially be the re-badged version of the Toyota Innova Hycross with minor cosmetic changes. Its platform, engine and features will be exactly similar to the Toyota’s three-row family car. The Engage will be the most expensive Maruti Suzuki in the country.
