KTM has reduced the prices of its 250 Adventure motorcycle by Rs 25,000. The KTM 250 Adventure is now available at a price tag of Rs 2.30 lakh, which was earlier priced at Rs 2.55 lakh.
The massive price cut is basically a special offer, which is available for a limited period (from 14th Juy to 31 August). At 2.30 lakh, the KTM 250 Adventure is priced slightly above the 250 Duke. This makes it an interesting option for budget enthusiasts looking to buy Duke 250 or Duke 200.
This could be the move to increase the sales of the 250 Adventure. Few days back, Bajaj Auto also reduced the prices of the Dominar 250 by Rs 16,500 in India. Similarly, Yamaha had slashed the prices of the FZ 25 and the FZS 25.
The KTM 250 Adventure is powered by a 248.8cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that powers the 250 Duke. This engine is capable of producing 30PS of power and a maximum torque of 24Nm. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox, and comes with a slipper clutch as standard.
In terms of features, the 250 Adventure gets a fully digital LCD instrument console, split seats, dual-channel ABS system, WP upside-down telescopic front forks, monoshock at the rear, etc. The motorcycle doesn’t have a direct rival in India. In terms of pricing, the 250cc Adventure Bike positioned against the BMW G310 GS and the RE Himalayan.
