Bookings for the new 2021 Jeep Compass facelift in India will commence in the end of January. The SUV could be launched in the next couple of months.
Interior Changes
The new 2021 Jeep Compass facelift comes with new dual-tone black and brown interior scheme. Adding to it, the SUV gets an all-new dashboard with soft-touch leather stitching. It also gets a newly-designed steering wheel that has a new Jeep logo. The SUV gets a new infotainment unit, ventilated front seats, wireless smartphone charging, climate control, and a 360 degree parking camera. It gets a revised instrument console and the engine start/stop button has been re-positioned.
Bigger Touchscreen
The 2021 Jeep Compass facelift comes equipped with a newly styled 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with UConnect 5 software. This system is compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Voice recognition. The SUV also gets connected car technologies, which offers features like geo-fencing, find my car and others. Design Changes
The Compass facelift comes with more aggressive front than before. It features a large 7-slat grille with chrome finish, sharper and sleeker headlamps with new inserts, updated bumper and new fog lamp assembly. The SUV gets LED lighting system as standard. There is black slat that runs across the width and surrounds the fog lamps. There is an auxiliary air inlet placed in the middle.
The side profile remains identical to the previous model; however, it gets new alloys and squared wheel arches with plastic cladding. At the back, the new Compass gets revised tail-lights with new inserts and new bumper.
Under The Bonnet?
Mechanically, the new 2021 Jeep Compass remain unchanged. It continues to offer the same set of engines as seen on the previous model. The diesel version gets a 2.0-litre Multi-jet diesel engine that is capable of producing 170bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual gearbox is offered as standard. The petrol version also gets a 7-speed DCT automatic unit, while the diesel version gets an optional 9-speed diesel engine.
Compass Trailhawk facelift
The Trailhawk comes with aggressive looking front fascia, featuring new matte black grille and differently styled bumper airdams and fog lamp assembly. There is a larger LED headlamps and new dual-tone alloy wheels. Trail Rated badge is placed on the fenders. It features red/black decal on the bonnet with signature tow hooks in the front bumper. It features completely revised dashboard with leather inserts and double stitchings.
