Jaguar XJ50 Special Edition Launched; Priced At Rs 1.11 Crore

Jaguar Land Rover’s flagship sedan has now completed 50 years (5 decades) in the Indian market. To celebrate the occasion, the company today introduced a special edition of the luxury saloon. Called the Jaguar XJ50 special edition has been priced at Rs 1.11 crore (ex-showroom, India). Official bookings for the limited edition are now open across the nation.
The Jaguar XJ50 special edition receives cosmetic upgrades and a few new features over the standard model. The limited edition has Autobiography-style front and rear bumpers. The chrome radiator grille with chrome surround adds more to its sporty front fascia.

The special edition rides on newly-designed 19-inch alloy wheels, and features unique badging on the side and rear vents. The Jaguar XJ50 special edition comes in a choice of four colour schemes – Rosello Red, Fuji White, Loire Blue and Santorini Black.
Interior has also been revised with a pack of new features. The Jaguar XJ50 gets special illuminated treadplates badging, bring metal pedals and anodized gearshift paddles. The new diamond quilted seats and special XJ50 badge on the centre armrest give it a premium touch.
Mechanically, the Jaguar XJ50 Anniversary Edition is exactly same as the standard model. It uses the 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that’s good for 306bhp. Delivering power to the rear wheels is an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox. The luxury saloon can do 0 to 100kmph in 6.2 seconds and attain a top speed of 250kmph.
