India’s five highly-popular cars are ready to receive updates (including facelifts and new-generation change) in 2023. The list includes the Tata Harrier and Safari facelifts, Honda City facelift, Kia Seltos facelift and the next-generation Hyundai Verna. Here’re some key details of the aforementioned upcoming models.
Honda City Facelift
Honda Cars India is reported to bring in the updated City sedan by March 2023. The new model will witness a few changes inside and out, while the engine setup will remain intact. It’s likely to come with a bigger black grille, updated bumper and fog lamp assembly, massive air dams, newly-designed alloy wheels and revised taillamps. Inside, there could be wireless charger and ventilated seats. New-Gen Hyundai Verna
Hyundai Verna, the mid-size sedan from the South Korean automaker, will enter into its new-generation sometime this year. It will feature the brand’s new parametric jewel design grille, tweaked bumper, a tapered roof with fastback-like styling and split taillamps. Major update will come in the form of ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite along with the dual-screen display – one for infotainment system and one for instrument cluster. Kia Seltos Facelift
Reports suggest that the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift might hit our roads in the second quarter of this year. The updated model, which is already on sale in global markets, will come with the radar-based driver assistance systems. The feature list will include a 10.25-inch instrument and infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, an electronic parking brake, a panoramic sunroof and automatic AC with rear AC vents. Tata Harrier/Safari Facelift
Tata’s popular Harrier and Safari SUVs are reported to arrive with significant updates sometime this year. Changes that will be made to the new models showcased in the Harrier and Safari Red Black Editions, which were put up on display at the Auto Expo 2023. Both SUV will get Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) that offers features such as lane keep assist, autonomous emergency brake, forward collision alert and traffic sign recognition. Features such as a bigger and updated 10.25-inch infotainment system, a new digital instrument cluster, adjustable driver’s seat with memory functions, a 360 degree camera and ambient lighting will also be on offer.
