India’s Top 10 Best Selling Sedans In October 2018
The Maruti Dzire is the highest-selling sedan, followed by the Honda Amaze.
Sedans have always been preferred choices among buyers who want a comfortable driving experience. These are further categorized into subcompact, compact, mid-size, executive, etc. It derives a significant chunk of sales in the Indian automobile market. Here, we have listed India’s top 10 highest selling sedans in October, 2018.
Maruti Suzuki’s Dzire holds the top position with total sales of 17,404 units. The compact sedan, recently, crossed 3 lakh sales milestone in the country. The second spot is grabbed by the new-generation Honda Amaze that registered sales of 5,542 units previous month. The third position has taken by yet another Maruti Suzuki model – the Ciaz that received facelift in August, 2018. The Ciaz’s arch rivals – the Honda City and Hyundai Verna – stood at number four and five with total sales of 3,612 units and 3,301 units respectively.
With sales of 3,143 units, the Hyundai Xcent took the sixth position which is followed by the Tata Tigor and Ford Aspire. The Tigor recorded sales of 2,927 units and the Aspire registered 2,520 units. The ninth and tenth spots are grabbed by the Skoda Rapid and Volkswagen Vento respectively.
