Riding high on success of the new-generation Creta, Hyundai Motor Company is planning to expand its SUV range in the Indian market. The South Korean carmaker is working on the 7-seater version of the Creta that might make its way to India sometime in 2021. While its official name and details are yet to be revealed by the carmaker, the bigger Creta is reported to be christened ‘Hyundai Alcazar’. We have seen multiple spy pictures of Hyundai’s new 7-seater SUV revealing interesting design details.

Compared to its 5-seater sibling, the Hyundai Creta 7-seater is likely to be 30mm longer and have 20mm longer wheelbase. The carmaker will make noticeable design changes that might include a new chrome studded grille, smaller skid plate, bigger lower air intake, flatter roof and revised rear section.

For performing transmission duties, the SUV has an 8-speed automatic gearbox with a multi-plate torque converter.
