Hyundai i20 N Line, the performance-oriented version of the standard i20 hatchback, is all set to make its India debut on 24th August 2021. It will be the first ‘N Line’ model from the South Korean carmaker in the country. Prior to its official unveiling, select Hyundai dealerships have started accepting bookings for the hot hatch at a token sum of Rs 25,000. According to leaked information, i20 N Line will be made available in three variants – N6 iMT, N8 iMT and N8 DCT.
What differentiate the Hyundai i20 N Line from the regular model will be its new grille with ‘chequered flag’ pattern, revised front and rear bumpers, newly-designed larger alloys and ‘N’ badging all around the body. The blacked out elements, prominent rear diffuser and twin exhaust pipes further enhance its sportier appearance. The suspension setup will also be revised to deliver sporty performance.
A few changes will be made inside the cabin as well. The N branded leather gear knob, sporty front seats, contrast red stitching, N badging and a bespoke steering wheel will distinguish it from the standard model. With respect to features, the i20 N Line will offer BlueLink connected car technology, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smarphone connectivity, a semi digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting and cruise control.
