Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition Coming Soon

Ahead of the festive season, the South Korean carmaker is planning to bring in a special edition of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios hatchback. Called the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate edition, the model will receive a few cosmetic and feature upgrades. It’s reported to be based on the Magna trim and offered with both petrol and diesel engines. As per the leaked document, the special edition will feature new body-coloured ORVMs with integrated turn indicators.

The regular 14-inch steel rims will be replaced with larger 15-inch gunmetal styled alloy wheels. The hatchback’s new edition will have ‘Corporate’ badging all across the exterior. Design bits such as front grille in gloss black and chrome finish, LED DRLs and follow-me-home headlamps will be carried over from the standard Magna trim.

Interestingly, the upcoming Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate edition will be the first car in its segment to offer Anti Bacterial Anti Fungal (ABAF) seats and an air purifier. The latter will come with gesture control and Hepa filter. The regular manually adjustable ORVMs will be replaced with electrically adjustable units.

As mentioned above, the Grand i10 Nios special edition will be made available with 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.2L diesel engine options. While the gasoline unit is good enough for 82bhp and 114Nm, the oil burner makes 74bhp with 190Nm. A 5-speed manual gearbox is likely to be standard across the new edition. The petrol version will be an optional 5-speed AMT unit.

At present, the hatchback’s Magna petrol variants come in the price range of Rs 5.91 lakh – Rs 6.44 lakh and the diesel model costs Rs 7.0 lakh (all, ex-showroom). The new Hyudnai Grand i10 Nios Corporate edition is likely to be priced slightly premium than the existing Magna trim.
