Hyundai, the South Korean automaker, has launched the Elite i20 Anniversary Edition in the Indian car market. Based on the Sportz trim level, the new Elite i20 Anniversary Edition petrol is priced at Rs. 6.69 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) while the diesel powered model is tagged at Rs. 7.84 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The special edition variant is priced about Rs. 30,000 more than the standard variant, and is equipped with some additional features and cosmetic updates. This special edition has been launched to celebrate the Elite i20’s one year presence in our market.
Talking about changes, the Elite i20 Anniversary Edition features newly designed 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, roof with gloss black shade, blacked out B and C pillars, sport pedals, body decals and badging on the tailgate. The production of the special edition will be limited to just 600 units.

Other than these, the car features climate control, 2-DIN music system with Bluetooth connectivity and six speakers as standard. The dealer level accessories fitted on this variant include floor mats, seat covers, door sil plates, parcel tray and badging.
The Hyundai Elite i20 Anniversary Edition is available with two engine options- 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol and 1.4-litre U2 CRDi diesel. While the petrol engine mated to a five-speed gearbox is good for 82bhp of power and 115Nm of torque, the oil burner is capable of producing 89bhp and 220Nm of torque, and is paired to a six-speed manual gearbox.
