Talking about Hyundai’s future plan, the South Korean automaker is ready to give a mid-life update to its three popular models – Creta, Venue and Kona EV. All updated models are slated to launch this year. Besides this, the company aims to foray into the compact MPV and mini SUV segments in coming years. If reports are to be believed, Hyundai might bring in the Stargazer three-row MPV in India sometime in 2022. Here, the model will be positioned against the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

The company is working on a new entry-level sub-4 meter SUV that will challenge the Maruti Suzuki Ignis and the newly-launched Tata Punch in India. Internally known as Hyundai Ai3, the model is reported to hit showrooms in 2023. Hyundai’s upcoming mini SUV might underpin the modified version of the Casper’s platform. It will be the smallest and most affordable Hyundai SUV in the country.
