Hyundai Creta To Get 3 New Rivals In 2023 – Key Details

The mid-size segment is getting crowded with the new product launches and the recent addition to the bandwagon are Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder. In fact, car manufacturers such as Honda and Citroen are ready to roll out new SUVs to challenge dominance of the Hyundai Creta. The segment’s second top-selling model – Kia Seltos – will also receive a mid-life update this year. Here’s a brief on the upcoming new Hyundai Creta rivals, which are slated to hit roads in 2023.

The updated Kia Seltos is reported to go on sale by mid 2023. One of the major changes will be made under the hood. The SUV will receive a new 1.5L turbo petrol engine that’s good enough for 160bhp and 253Nm. The new gasoline unit will replace the existing 140bhp, 1.4L turbo petrol motor. It can be had with either a 7-speed DCT or a 6-speed manual gearbox. The new 2023 Kia Seltos facelift will also be available with the 115bhp, 1.5L petrol and 115bhp, 1.5L turbo diesel engine options. Honda Cars India confirmed that its new SUV (Hyundai Creta rival) will debut by summer 2023. Its market launch is expected to happen by the 2023 festive season. The model could be offered with the City’s 121bhp, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5L strong-hybrid petrol engine options. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual, a CVT automatic and an e-drive with strong hybrid. The new Honda SUV will be around 4.2-4.3 metres in length and it will underpin the modified version of the Amaze’s platform. The French automaker is gearing up to foray into the highly competitive mid-size SUV segment in the second half of 2023. Called the Citroen C3 Aircross, the model will derive its design inspiration from the C3. In fact, it will essentially be the longer version of the C3 hatchback. As per a fresh media report, the new C3 Aircross will be made available with two and three-row seating configurations.
