2022 Hyundai Creta Facelift Rendered After the 1st Spy Photos

2022 Hyundai Creta facelift, which is currently in its testing phase, was recently spotted testing in the country. While its production-ready version is likely to arrive sometime next year, a latest digital rendering previews its possible design. The rendered model carries a completely revised front fascia featuring Tucson inspired grille with lots of chrome, split headlamps, new fog lamp assembly, the updated bumper with faux skid plate and lower central air dam. The LED DRLs are merging with the grille and headlamp cluster featuring dark finish.

A few cosmetic updates might also be made at its side and rear profiles. The SUV might come with a newly-designed alloy wheels and split taillamp clusters. Interior is likely to be updated with some new features such as head-up unit (HUD), a 360 degree camera and autonomous technology. The existing Creta comes with a 7.0-inch instrument cluster, auto dimming inside rear view mirror, leather upholstery, an 8-speaker Bose premium audio system, front ventilated seats, remote engine start-stop, powered driver’s seat, 6 airbags and more.

Reports suggest that the 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift could be offered with the mild hybrid system. Currently, the SUV is available with three engine options – 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol (115bhp with 144Nm), 1.4L turbo petrol (140bhp with 242Nm) and 1.5L diesel engines (115bhp with 250Nm). The SUV comes with 4 gearboxes – 6-speed manual, iVT, 6-speed torque convertor automatic and 7-speed DCT automatic.

As of now, the South Korean carmaker is gearing up to launch the Hyundai Alcazar 6/7-seater SUV in coming weeks. Here, it will be positioned against the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and the upcoming Mahindra XUV700. As per the leaked information, the new three-row SUV will be offered in 6 trims (Signature, Signature (O), Prestige, Prestige (O), Platinum and Platinum (O) and 6 paint schemes. Its engine setup will include a 159bhp, 2.0L petrol and 115bhp, 1.5L turbo diesel unit.
