Hyundai Motor India recently rolled out the Alcazar premium 7-seater SUV at a starting price of Rs 16.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The three-row SUV has been made available in Prestige, Platinum and Signature trims and two seating configurations – 6 and 7-seats. There are four dual-tone variants priced from Rs 18.85 lakh to Rs 20.14 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, the carmaker has revealed the Hyundai Alcazar accessories and the package prices, which are listed below. One must note that the prices mentioned below are inclusive of taxes.

On the engine front, the new Alcazar offers both petrol and diesel motors. The petrol model has been equipped with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol unit, which is essentially the more powerful version (7bhp) of the one in the Elantra and Tucson. In Hyundai’s new three-row SUV, the gasoline unit delivers a peak power of 159bhp and 192Nm. For power, the diesel variant uses a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged motor borrowed from the Creta. Hyundai’s new 7-seater SUV can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Its petrol-manual version is claimed to do 0-100kph sprint in 9.5 seconds. The SUV comes with three drive modes – Comfort, Eco and Sport – and three traction control modes – Sand, Snow and Mud.
Talking about the mileage, the Alcazar petrol manual and automatic versions deliver a fuel efficiency of 14.5kmpl and 14.2kmpl respectively. The diesel manual gearbox is the most frugal one, offering 20.4kmpl. The diesel automatic, on the other hand, promises 18.1kmpl. With such impressive figures, the Hyundai Alcazar becomes the most fuel efficient vehicle in its segment.
