Honda Shine Celebration Edition – Prices, Colours, Images, Details

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has introduced a special edition of its highly-popular Shine commuter motorcycle. Called the Honda Shine Celebration Edition, the model has been priced at Rs 78,878 for the drum variant and Rs 82,878 for the disc variant. One must note that the aforementioned prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The bike comes in two new colour options – Matte Sangria Red Metallic and Matte Steel Black Metallic.

While the body graphics remain same, it gets shining golden shade. You can notice the golden paint scheme on the headlamp cowl, wingmark emblem, side panels and tail section. While the tank top has ‘Celebration Edition’ logo, the tail section features ‘Shine’ moniker. The Matte axis grey metallic muffler cover compliments with its golden theme.

No changes have been made to its engine. The Honda Shine Celebration Edition comes with the same 123.94cc engine that makes a top power of 10.74PS at 7,500rpm and 11Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. The motor has been paired to a 5-speed gearbox with multiplate wet clutch. The Shine commuter motorcycle promises mileage around 55kmpl in city and 65kmpl on highways.

Similar to the regular model, the special edition comes with features such as DC headlamp, black alloys, an instrument cluster, generous smatterings of chrome on the side panels, visor and exhaust,  engine start/stop switch, silent start with ACG, eSP (enhanced smart power), side stand engine cut-off, 5-step adjustable rear suspension, seal chain and CBS (combi brake system) with equalizer.

Recently, the Japanese two-wheeler maker rolled out the Honda Activa Premium Edition at Rs 75,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The model has been offered in Mat Marshal Green Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue and Mat Sangria Red Metallic colour options. It has gold coated chrome garnish on the turn indicator housing, golden wheels and ‘Activa Premium’ logo in golden finish.
