New Honda Activa Premium Edition – Price, Colours, Features

The new Honda Activa Premium Edition has been launched in the country. The new variant carries a price tag of Rs 75,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi), thus making it Rs 1,000 more expensive than the Activa 6G DLX. It has been made available in three new colour options – Pearl Siren Blue, Mat Marshal Green Metallic and Mat Sangria Red Metallic. All shade model has contrast golden highlights and brown seat cover and inner body.

Compared to the Activa 6G Std and DLX, the new Honda Activa Premium Edition appears sportier. It features gold coated chrome garnish on the turn indicator housing and the signature logo placed at the front. The golden wheels and ‘Activa Premium’ moniker in golden finish add more to its refreshing look.

No changes have been made to its engine. Similar to the regular model, the Honda Activa Premium Edition uses the 109.51cc, air-cooled, 4 stroke, SI engine delivering a peak power of 7.80bhp at 8,000rpm and 8.84Nm at 5,500rpm. The scooter has the conventional telescopic front and 3-step adjustable spring loaded rear suspension unit. It derives braking power from the 130mm front and rear drum brakes. Honda Activa, India’s top-selling scooter, comes with features such as LED DC headlamp, external fuel fill cap, a large instrument console, engine start/stop button, ACG starter motor for silent starts, eSP technology, fuel injection technology and decent underseat storage space. It has an underbone frame.

The scooter measures 1833mm in length, 697mm in width and 1156mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1260mm and a ground clearance of 162mm. The Activa 6G offers a seat height of 692mm and has a fuel tank capacity of 5.3-litres. Its kerb weight stands at 106kg.
