Ford India today rolled out the new Figo automatic variants in the country. While the 2021 Ford Figo automatic Titanium has been priced at Rs 7.75 lakh, the Titanium + trim costs Rs 8.20 lakh. Interested buyers can book the new Figo AT variants online and get real-time assistance from a booking partner, available 6 days a week from 9:30am to 6:30pm. Under the company Dial-A-Ford initiative, customers can also avail a host of services via a toll-free-number.
Both models are packed with the BS6-compliant 1.2L TiVCT petrol engine, which is paired to a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The transmission unit is claimed to be the “segment-best”. The gasoline motor makes a top power of 96PS and 119Nm of torque.
The 2021 Ford Figo automatic is said to offer “the perfect combination of performance, refinement and drivability with the Sports mode and SelectShift features”. In Sport mode, the automatic gearbox unit selects the optimum gear with shifts happening faster for more responsive driving. The SelectShift enables the driver to change gears manually using a toggle switch on the gearshift lever.
On the safety front, the Figo AT offers 6 airbags, hill launch assist, traction control system, electronic stability control and FordPass. It has also been packed with several industry-best features such as a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen infotainment system, electrochromic IRVM and rain sensing wipers. The new Ford Figo automatic is being offered in five colour schemes – Smoke Grey, Ruby Red, Moondust Silver, Diamond White and White Gold.
The Figo hatchback comes with a standard warranty of 3 year or 100,000km and longer service intervals of 10,000km than the 5,000km of most other competing models. The carmaker says that the hatchback owners spend as low as Rs 1,313 for scheduled service in the first year while the 100,000km or 10 year service costs Rs 4,097.
