Ford EcoSport Titanium S Variant To Be Updated Soon

Ford Motor Company had launched the 2021 EcoSport compact SUV in January this year. The updated model was equipped with a sunroof as standard on the Titanium trim. Adding to it, the SUV also received a new SE trim which comes without a tailgate mounted spare wheel.

A new media report claims that Ford will soon give new updates to the Titanium S trim of the EcoSport compact SUV. It is expected that the 2021 Ford EcoSport Titanium S trim will receive few design changes in the form of revised front bumper, new LED daytime running lamps, LED tail-lamps and new alloy wheels. The LED DRLs will be placed below the headlamp unit.

The cabin of the EcoSport Titanium S is also expected to be updated with new features. The SUV could receive a new touchscreen infotainment system, which should support modern connectivity features.

The Ford EcoSport is available with two engine options – a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. While the former is good for 120bhp of power and 149Nm of torque, the oil burner produces 99bhp of power and 215Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox driving the power to the front wheels is available as standard, while the petrol engine also gets a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Ford EcoSport SE Details

The Ford EcoSport SE variant is available in petrol and diesel versions, priced at Rs 10.49 lakh and Rs 10.99 lakh, respectively. It misses out on a rear-mounted spare wheel, and features a conventional tailgate. The EcoSport SE gets new dual-tone rear bumper with a silver applique, new front grille and 16-inch alloy wheels. It also features an easy to use puncture kit that will enable owners to repair tyre damage within minutes, without removing the tyre from its slot. It comes equipped with Ford’s SYNC 3 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with Ford PassTM integration.
