Citroen C3, the first mass-market product from the French carmaker in India, is all set to hit roads today (i.e. 20th July 2022). Touted as a premium hatchback, the model has compact dimensions and it carries sporty SUV-ish stance such as raised bonnet line, upright stance, a high ground clearance (180mm) and elevated driver’s position. The carmaker has already confirmed that the C3 will come in Live and Feel trims and two engine options – 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.2L turbo petrol.
While the naturally aspirated gasoline unit will be good for 82bhp, the turbocharged motor will promise 110bhp. The new Citroen car will return a claimed mileage of 19.8kmpl (NA petrol) and 19.4kmpl (turbo petrol). It can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed manual gearbox. The automaker will introduce automatic variants of the hatchback at a later stage.
There will be four single tone colour options, namely, Polar White, Zesty Orange, Platinum Grey and Steel Grey. Some features will be exclusively available on the Feel trim including a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity, 4-speaker audio system, steering mounted controls, speed sensitive auto door lock, remote keyless entry, tilt steering, front USB charger, two rear fast chargers, driver and co-driver front seat back pocket, manually adjustable driver’s seat, rear power windows, One touch up-down for all windows, wheel arch cladding, LED DRLs, gloss black roof rails, body-coloured outside door handles and dual-tone C-pillar.
The new Citroen C3 hatchback will be made available with 56 customisation options and over 70 accessories. Buyers will have three customization package options – Vibe, Elegance, Energy and Convenience.
